The Great Loop is a
trip around the Eastern U.S waterways. Our trip took us:
 |
North along the Intercoastal waterway to Norfolk, VA
|
|
Up through the Chesapeake Bay and across the Delaware Canal
|
|
Along the New Jersey coast via the Atlantic ocean
|
|
Up through New York on the Hudson River
|
|
West through the Erie Canal and North on Lake Ontario
|
|
West through Canada on the Trent Severn Canal
|
|
North-West through the Georgian Bay and Lake Huron
|
|
South on Lake Michigan
|
|
South on the Mississippi, Ohio, Cumberland and Tenn Tomm rivers
|
|
Across Mobile Bay and the Gulf of Mexico
|
|
and...finally back to the Intercoastal waterway and back to Stuart via the
Okeechobee waterway.

We traveled 4997 miles!

We were gone for 23 weeks! (Left May 5th and returned on October 14th!)
