Tanya's Memories It has been a wonderful second month and I can't believe how fast it has gone.  There have been many highlights in this part of the trip. I really enjoyed my mom and sister's visit in Baltimore, Cape May was beautiful and Atlantic City was busy. Even though we seem to be staying at more marinas than we had planned I enjoy every time we were able to stay out on Anchorage.  The Still Pond anchorage was one of my favorite so far. The place was isolated and Jason and I had fun swimming in the water, cleaning the dingy and the boat. It is so nice to be on the boat without anyone around. We have seen some beautiful sunrises and sunsets and the weather has been with us. Besides some fog that has delayed our departures, we have been able to travel on most days that we have planned to leave.  I have really enjoyed how flexible we have been able to be.. staying longer at a place when we want to and leaving sooner if a place does not meet our expectations. (Not many have not).  The time we are getting to spend with Austin is amazing...He is now 3 months old and growing like a weed.  I can't imagine not having the opportunity to watch him grow. He is the most amazing child.
Jason's Memories Well it has been an awesome trip so far and we have seen a lot of beautiful places. I too can not believe how fast the time is passing. Prior to making to New York City, my favorite stop was definitely Annapolis, Md. where we spent three days. Other than the water pump on the generator failing the rest of our visit was great. Having Tanya's mom and sister visit was very nice and we had a great time in Baltimore doing the tourist stuff. I believe that you could spend a whole year just cruising the Chesapeake Bay and still not see all the beautiful spots hidden along this large waterway. Our stop in Cape May proved to be very enjoyable and what a neat town it was to walk around and discover. Visiting Atlantic City just made me want to go to Vegas even more, this is truly a fun place to stop and it was totally different from what I was picturing. The marinas there are very expensive ranging from $2.25/ft to $4.00/ft and these prices go up one dollar on the weekends. The public transportation in New York is very good but they do not cater to the needs of those with strollers or the handicapped. So Tanya and I are really getting a great workout lifting the stroller and Austin with all of his things up and down the steps to the subway stations. Being able to spend TWENTY-FOUR hours a day with my son is the best. He is a great child who travels really well and watching him grow is amazing. He changes everyday and learns new things to do with his arms and legs. I count it a blessing to spend the first six months of his life with him watching him grow. I am looking forward to next month we will be cruising the Hudson River and then on to the Erie Canal System then we will depart on July 20th from Syracuse, Ny. for London, England for two weeks returning on the 2nd of August.
